Colourful macro photos taken by Catherine Wright during the recent Orms macro workshop at the Kirstenbosch Gardens.

These beautiful close-up photos were taken by Cape Town-based photographer Catherine Wright in the Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Catherine took the photos while attending an Orms macro photography workshop that was planned exclusively for members of Capetonian photographic clubs, and presented in partnership with Claude Felbert and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Society. There are two more workshops coming up, and attendees will be invited by their respective clubs.

The second annual Kirstenbosch Competition started running in May, and winners will be receiving monthly prizes as well as a grand prize of a Canon 70D DSLR and an 18-135mm lens!
