In today’s Adobe Photoshop video tutorial, Manfred Werner demos the Eraser and Gradient tools.

Learn essential retouching and post production skills each Wednesday, right here on Orms Connect. Tutorial Wednesdays are brought to you by Manfred Werner.

Please note: This video tutorial requires no advanced Photoshop skills and only shows Basics & Tools.

This is Part Six in our ongoing series of Photoshops Basics & Tools tutorials. View parts OneTwoThreeFour and Five in case you missed them.

In this tutorial video, I will show you how to work with the eraser and how I adjust my eraser size quicker with a shortcut. The eraser tool has almost the same functions as the brush tool, which was also covered in Part 4. Once we are down with that, I will go over to the Gradient tool and show you a few techniques on how to get a softer or harder gradient. I will also show you a quick technique on how to get your own gradient look.

Please note: When working with a gradient, you will need to click and drag to achieve an ongoing gradient.
