American Tintype is a very inspiring look at Harry Taylor’s experimentation with tintype photography, filmed by Matt Morris.

Get inspired by the story of Harry Taylor, who rediscovered the classic tintype photographic process, in this great short film by Matt Morris.

If you enjoyed the video, be sure to take a look at Silver & Light, the similar story of Ian Ruhter’s wet-plate collodion photography with a camera built inside a van – also very inspiring!

Interested to learn more about these classic alternative methods of photography? George Eastman House recently released some excellent videos documenting the various processes.
