The Blackmagic Design Ultimatte 12 Processor allows you to add augmented reality and virtual environments to any broadcast whether it’s news, sports, traditional television or film production. It can also work with both fixed cameras and static backgrounds or automated virtual set systems. The 12G-SDI design can be used to layer computer generated augmented reality objects into a scene, it also incorporates realistic transparency what your talent can walk behind.
It commonly occurs for the green or the blue screen to suffer from variations when working live and having multiple cameras shooting from all different angles. However, with the Keyers that’s built-in to live production switchers -it can use the same keying parameters for all cameras which usually complicates keying and image quality as each camera sees the green screen slightly a bit different.
Add new realistic layer modes in order to deliver compositing coloured glass look objects or tinted glass and computer graphic which is practically impossible with any other traditional keyer, only because you can’t subtract the green or blue screen out of a semi-transparent coloured object without changing the objects original colour.
The One Touch Keying compliments the high performance Blackmagic Design Ultimatte 12 Processor, that allows you to analyse a scene and automatically sets over 100 parameters in order to the improved keys without having to work that hard. Make sure that the white balance of the camera and the scenes lighting is well setup, then activate the auto key and let the Blackmagic Design Ultimatte 12 Processor do all the work for you.
With advanced algorithms and expanded internal colour space – it is set out to automatically generate the internal mattes so that different parts of the image can be processed individually based on the colours in each area. It is designed to produce fine edge detail where it’s needed the most, like on hair with smoother transitions between colours or other subjects that appears in the scene which is all handled by new math and sub pixel processing for improved quality and clarity for HD and Ultra HD.
You can now reproduce bright colours that were never possible before without any doubt as you get the new advanced flare, edge and transition processing in order to remove backgrounds without interfering with the colour that you would like to keep which is practically impossible on other keyers. It holds colour transitions between areas very much smooth in order to keep the highest quality compositing, so that the final output looks realistic.
