The Nikon Coolpix A1000 Digital Camera is equipped with a powerful 16MP CMOS Sensor, thats specifically designed to utilise in low-light environments and also to capture astonishing image quality throughout its zoom range. The Backside-Illuminated sensor gathers maximum light leading to much sharper images thats been photographed in dark situations.
Incorporated into the Nikon A1000 Camera is a high-performance 35x Optical Zoom Lens that allows you to zoom quite close up to your subject providing a wide-angle to telephoto zoom. If you need to get really close-up to your subject then you can make use of the Dynamic Fine Zoom which would then double up the zoom, reaching for a whopping 1680 mm equivalent view, and you can get really close to your subjects when having the Macro Mode switched on, as close as 0.4 inch.
Amaze your friends and family with astonishing 4K (3840 x 2160) video quality and full stereo sound. You can also switch to record Full HD 1080/60p movies to experience a much smooth recording. When shooting in movie mode the Hybrid VR combines optical and electronic VR to always keep your videos sharp and steady, even though you shooting handheld. Additionally, the 4K UHD format allows you to grab frames while recording, and to save it as a still image.
This compact Nikon Coolpix A1000 Camera features the capabilities of a high-performance DSLR camera, that allows you to capture uncompressed RAW (NRW) images. This format enables you to preserve all the data from its image sensor and then create exactly the ideal look through Nikons free ViewNX-I and Capture NX-D software without losing any image quality.
