Internal and external 4K 60p recording
The Panasonic S1 series cameras are the first full frame cameras to be able to record 4K UHD video at 60 frames per second. The Panasonic S1 records 4K 25/30p with no crop and no pixel binning, and 4K 50/60p with a 1.5x crop and no pixel binning. The camera can also record 4:2:0 10-bit video internally (except for 4K 50/60p) and with Hybrid Log Gamma as standard; an optional V-Log key can be purchased for 4K 30p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit internal video recording with V-Log, or 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 60p via live HDMI output
Large array of video features
A Large array of video features such as focus peaking, flicker reduction, histogram, zebra patern, HLG view assist, H.265/HEVC file format, no recording time limit (excludes 4K 50/60p), 3.5mm microphone jack with line input and 3.5mm headphone lack, as well as high speed 180 fps Full HD recording for slow motion video. All these features further boosts the Lumix S1's already amazing video capabilities, and in typical Panasonic fashion this list of video features will grow with new firmware updates as well.
24MP Full Frame sensor with exceptional dynamic range and low light performance
The Panasonic Lumix S1 incorporates a large 35mm full frame sensor with 24 megapixels. The sensors large pixel area provides exceptional dynamic range; as well as an exceptional low light performance with a light standard sensitivity range of ISO 100-51200, or an extended ISO 50 to 204800, providing the S1 with the ability to shoot photos or videos in extreme low light conditions.
HLG Photo Mode
Another brilliant feature that’s been incorporated into the latest Panasonic S1 Mirrorless Camera is the High Dynamic Range Still Photo – HLG Photo Mode – allowing you to photograph images with a much wider dynamic range. Meaning that it will reproduce both glaring lights and dark shadows in order to prevent overexposed and underexposed shots from taking place, leaving you with precise, rich colour that’s as close as possible to virtual memory.
96 Megapixel High Resolution Mode
Panasonic has ensured that superb quality, sharp and defined photos will be produced when capturing on the latest Panasonic S1 Mirrorless. When making use of this mode, 8 remarkable photos are being captured in rapid succession while shifting the sensor – which is then synthesized into a single 96MP Raw photograph.Having all this said, its guaranteed that precise details will be reproduced for astonishing image quality, and highly realistic quality – making it perfect for when capturing natural landscapes and delicate details.
3.2” tiltable touch LCD, a 5760k dots electronic viewfinder, and a top LCD
The Panasonic Lumix S1 camera body features a large 3.2” triaxle tilting touch LCD with a resolution of 2,100k dots; the highest resolution viewfinder on any camera (at time of writing) with 5760k dots, and a display speed of 120 or 60fps; as well as an easy to read top status/info LCD.
