The most suitable and sophisticated video switcher is the Roland V-60HD Multi-Format HD Video Production Switcher that can be used at any live events. The Roland V-60HD features consists of four SDI inputs with de-interlacer and two HDMI inputs scaled for simultaneously switching cameras and computers for dynamic presentations, even though your camera isn’t full 1080p – the delacer on the SDI inputs makes it possible to mix and match 1080i and 1080p SDI video sources without any external converters, and a total of 4 SDI and HDMI outputs that that supports program, preview and auxiliary buses that allows you to send multiple outputs to separate displays. The HDMI Multiview output allows to view all eight inputs as well as program and preview on a single monitor display along with the audio level display.

Professional User Interface

The Roland V-60HD is a professional broadcast video switcher that consists of cross point buttons with PGM/PST LED colour indicators; also, with rugged T-Bar, DSK quick editing knobs for key level and gain; two dedicated PinP and Split buttons with knobs for center framing of Split and Picture-in-Picture placement. You can even change transition by either using mix or two presets wipe buttons with dedicated transition dissolve time knob. The front panel is equipped with a 3-inch LCD display that gives you quick access to the menu navigation to adjust the switcher parameters.

Video Composition

Roland has packed a variety of effects in the V-60HD video switcher such as Downstream Keyer, Picture-in-Picture; Split composition effects which is perfect to make use of in news broadcast and cooperate presentations. The downstream Keyer supports both Luminance Keying and Chroma keying (Blue/Green Screen) for compositing two video sources plus an additional layer of picture-in-picture plus your background video to achieve creative live production environments.


You can assign a dedicated AUX bus to any of the four discreet SDI or HDMI outputs that allows seamless switching from the 8-input channels. The unique AUX layer cross-point buttons ensures a reliable and quick operation and seamless switching.

Multi-View Output

The Roland V-60HD is equipped with advanced technology that enables you to preview all six video inputs and two still images, PGM and PVW to a single preview monitor via the Multi-view display in order to make setting changes without the need of changing your focus from the preview display.

Audio Mixer with Preamp and Dynamics (Compressor)

The Roland V-60HD with its powerful preamp and dynamic effects integrates a high-pass filter, gate, compressor, 3-band EQ, delay and ability to select audio follows video channel so that audio can pass through when a specific video source us selected. You can adjust the dynamics from the on-screen menu or you can access through the advanced Remote-Control Software which is compatible for Windows and Mac.

Audio Mixing

The audio-mixing function ensures that you’ll receive the correct mix for multiple panel participants at conferences by automatically adjusting levels across multiple audio sources.

Discreet Multi-Channel Audio Embedding

Connect up to as much as eight analog audio inputs and a separate audio embed channel on SDI 1 and 2 outputs to ensure a separate mix pre-effect or post effect in order to correct audio problems at live events. This feature is quite handy for multi-language events to record the voice-over or language translation on its individual channel to a separate master.

Smart Tally

Another powerful advantage to the Roland V-60HD is the wireless tally system that uses a wireless LAN router that’s connected up to the Roland V-60HD in order to send tally information to iOS and Android devices via the network.

Remote Control

The V-60HD RCS software for Mac or PC is an easy-to-use software that provides setup and control of information for the Roland V-60HD video production switcher via a network port. It allows you to copy, store and recall memory that’s been backup, and preset settings. Have full control and operation over your Roland V-60HD as it is equipped with an RS-232 port, which can be controlled via a touch panel or other programmable interface devices.

1.  What warranty comes with the goods purchased ?

All products excluding batteries sold by Orms are covered by a minimum of a one year local warranty, reckoned from the date of purchase, to protect you against manufacturing defects.


Canon IXUS, PowerShot compact cameras are covered by a full 1 Year Warranty
Canon DSLR and Mirrorless cameras
are covered by a full 2 Year Warranty.
Canon video cameras including Legria and X-series are covered by a full 1 Year Warranty.


Nikon compacts excluding the Coolpix P900 are covered by a full 1 Year Warranty.
Nikon DSLR's including the CoolPix P900 and are covered by a full 2 Year Warranty.


Panasonic cameras and lenses are covered by a full 2 Year Warranty.


Fujifilm cameras  are covered by a 2 Year Warranty.


Sigma and Tamron products are covered by a 3 Year Warranty, which only applies to when registering your Tamron/Sigma product.


Lexar and Sandisk memory cards are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.


Lowepro's Limited Original Owner Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship during the useful life of the product.  The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care.


 All used gear sold by ORMS is supplied with a 6 Month Warranty.


 All refurbished gear sold by ORMS is supplied with a 12 Month Warranty.


2.  My product has gone faulty, now what ?

Please contact our service division straight away on 021 - 469 1962 and notify them of the fault. You may also e-mail them at

   1. If a product is defective / faulty, ORMS will replace the product within a 10 day period deemed from the date of receiving the product.  ORMS will also cover the shipping costs within the borders of South Africa.

   2. During the warranty period, Orms will arrange collection of the faulty item, facilitate the repair and then ship the product back to the customer, bearing all risks and costs.

Orms is not obliged to repair products that fall outside of the manufacturers warranty period, or products that are damaged accidentally, however Orms in seeking to deliver the highest standard of customer service will gladly assist the customer in having the product repaired via the network of repair agents with which Orms has business dealings.

We use DawnWing couriers as our preferred method of delivery.

Your parcel is well packaged and bubble wrapped before delivery. We also fully insure your parcels contents for the journey to your door.

We charge a flat-rate for shipping and the charges are per order. 

  • Express Shipping to Main Cities @ R 150.00 incl. VAT (ETA of 1-2 Business Days)* - Main Cities are: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth and East London. Other cities/towns will take more than 1-2 delivery time.
  • Standard Shipping @ R 80.00 incl. VAT (ETA of 2-4 Business Days)* - To all areas.
