Updated Sensor with Wide Dynamic Range

The DJI Osmo Action 6 Action Camera features a newly developed 1/1.1" square sensor capable of recording up to UHD 4K120 video to capture dynamic, clear, detailed footage, even in low-light.
To ensure all the action stays in the frame, you will enjoy the super-wide 155° FOV. Now with a square sensor, finer details are captured that facilitate custom framing.
The 10-bit D-Log M colour mode provides over one billion colours and a wide 13.5-stop dynamic range for vivid footage.

Variable Aperture

Breaking away from the traditional fixed-aperture design, the DJI Osmo Action 6 is the first action camera from DJI featuring a variable aperture from f/2 to f/4.
When used with the optional (not included) macro lens, you can capture detailed, extreme close-ups with a shallow depth of field and a soft bokeh.

Sterburst Mode

Using the new Starburst Mode, images are created with lights turned into starbursts for images with drama and flair.

SuperNight Mode

SuperNight Mode allows for capturing clear and detailed footage, even in difficult light conditions, with noise reduction technology, a large sensor and a larger aperture. This mode applies to video resolutions up to 4K60.

High-Res Photos

It is easy to take stunning still photos that can easily be cropped. Each photo features approximately 2x the clarity of the predecessor. With the DJI Osmo Action 6, you have roughly 38MP (7168 x 5376) or 8K (16:9) resolution.

Clear OLED Touchscreens

On the rear, you will find a larger screen area and smaller bezels on the large 2.5" OLED touchscreen with 800 cd/m² brightness. The front screen also features an 800 cd/m² brightness on the 1.46" OLED touchscreen.

With a screen on the back as well as the front, you have no need to move around the camera for making adjustments such as mode switching, parameter adjustments, or video playback.

Multiple Stabilisation Modes

The built-in stabilisation features assist in eliminating camera shake in all directions. This also applies when shooting horizontally, where footage is corrected in all directions in 2.7K60 video. This keeps footage stable through bumps and even 360° rotations.
Horizon Balancing can also be activated, which corrects tilt horizontally with ±45° and supports stable recording at up to 4K60.
RockSteady 3.0 assist in eliminating camera shake while retaining the dynamic impact of motion, to deliver a more immersive first-person perspective for video up to 4K120.

Slow-Mo and Capture Options

With the DJI Osmo Action 6, you are able to slow down your action shots with 32x Super Slow Motion. A powerful 4nm chip enables frame-by-frame analysis and 4x frame interpolation for up to 32x slow motion. Shoot at 1080p240 and produce the video equivalent of 960 fps in post.
You will also find a pre-record function that allows you to capture and retain footage before the record button is pressed.
The highlight feature allows you to quickly mark key moments to speed up the editing process.

Efficient Mounting and Design

Featuring an updated dual-direction quick-release design, allowing you to quickly detach and switch between mounts and accessories in either direction.
All glass surfaces feature a tempered glass design for additional durability. Also, AF coatings make all touch controls responsive, even when wet. Always On Display is a function that can be activated, where both screens only show recording time and specifications.

Subject Tracking

Another first in the DJI Action 6 is the addition of subject tracking, where it intelligently detects a subject position and dynamically adjusts the composition, whether you record horizontally or vertically.

Recording

Further the single microSD card slot (up to 1TB cards), the DJI Osmo Action 6 features built-in 50GB storage. The camera is also optimised for even smaller file sizes.

Long Battery Life with Fast Charge

You are able to continuously record for up to four hours using the 1950mAh high-capacity Battery Plus. When using fast charging technology, you are able to charge the battery up to 80% in just 22 minutes, or charge to full power in only up to 52 minutes.

Wi-Fi Live Streaming

You are able to live stream straight from your DJI Osmo Action 6 Action Camera using the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi or your mobile phones hotspot.

DJI OsmoAudio Audio Ecosystem

The DJI OA 6 features three built-in omnidirectional microphones that record clear and accurate sound.
Without a receiver, the DJI OsmoAudio ecosystem is supported with the ability to add up to two DJI microphone transmitters, this solution offers you 32-bit float audio recording. Using an optional 3.5mm to USB-C cable, external microphones can also be used for enhanced audio capture.

Waterproof Design

Without the need for any additional accessories such as dive cases, the Action6 can be totally submerged under water to depths of up to 20 meters.
Additionally, a built-in water pressure gauge displays the depth and altitude. This system starts/stops recording when entering/exiting water.

Timecode Sync

Built-in timecode in the Osmo Action 6 allows you to easily synchronise footage in multicamera shooting scenarios.

Mimo App

Using the free-to-download DJI Mimo App for both iOS and Android, the DJI Osmo Action 6 wirelessly connects to your smartphone, allowing you to preview the camera view and adjust settings. Along with these functions, you can also find a variety of editing templates and a One-Tap Edit function, all of which can be done without downloading footage.
