The Atomos 7" Shogun Ultra Monitor-Recorder comes with the newly developed AtomOS 11 operating system, offering EL Zone exposure-referenced colourized images, ARRI false colour, and new scheduled recording and playback tools. As well as more standard codecs, including up to 8K Apple ProRes Raw, DBxHD, and H.265.

The Shogun Ultra is ideal for use with cinema-style cameras, having the ability to record full-quality Apple ProRes Raw files at rates up to UHD 4K 60p, while simultaneously recording 1080p 60 to H.265. With file mane matching, you are provided with easier workflows with ARRI, Canon, RED, and Sony cameras.
Improved monitoring functions include EL Zone System exposure and ARRI false colour. Furthermore, RemoteView is also possible where you can share live views from your screen over the internet.
NDI TX Opoin
The Atomos 7" Shogun Ultra Monitor-Recorder requires very low bandwidth when using the optional NDI transmission function to send high-quality video over ordinary networks. These include Wi-Fi as well as Mobile networks.
Your Atomos 7" Shogun Ultra Monitor-Recorder basically becomes the NDI source that is visible to all other authorised devices on the network.
Ultrabright Screen
You are able to view the super-bright, 2000 cd/m², 7" screen in almost any lighting condition from indoors to outdoors while still on set.<.p>
Durable Build
The Atomos 7" Shogun Ultra Monitor-Recorder features a durable housing that makes it suitable to be used in virtually any condition. The built-in tally light can be used to see the recording status at a glance.
This device is powered by using the L-Series battery plate on the back, or the optional DC power input can be used to power the device. Mount this monitor recorder using the 3/8”-16 threads on the top and bottom, or use the included 1/4”-20 adapter.
On the Shogun you will find a slot for the included Atomos Master Caddy III, SD card slot supporting up to 4TB, and CFAst II compatibility when using an SSDmini adapter for recording as long as the available media allows.
