The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G card features advanced capabilities as it's an 8 lane PCI Express generation 2 digital cinema capture and playback card that's compatible with 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots with HDMI or SDI mezzanine card that also features full frame DCI 4K input and output via 12G-SDI. With dual link multi rate 12G-SDI connections - it can work with SD, HD and Ultra HD even in Ultra HD 60p as well as full frame DCI 4K at a resolution of 4096 x 2160 up to 25p.
The 4K Extreme 12G capture card is ideal as no other card supports more video formats and video connections as you can capture 10-bit YUV or full colour bandwidth 12-bit RGB and also includes AES/EBU audio up, down and cross conversion plus a built-in 3D stereoscopic output at full bandwidth of 4:4:4:4.
