The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is the latest addition to the legendary EOS 5D family. Designed for photographers and videographers alike the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV features a brand new 30.4 megapixel full-frame sensor paired with a DIGIC 6+ processor to provide internal DCI 4K video recording at up to 30 fps, a wide ISO sensitivity range of ISO 50-102400 (expanded), and 7 frames per second (fps) high speed shooting.
The 5D Mark IV is easily the most versatile DSLR camera from Canon yet. Having roughly the same dimensions as a 7D or 6D, but packing video and photo features from the much larger 1D X Mark II, the 5D Mark IV will never feel out of place or underpowered. Whether you're shooting sports indoor or recording/tracking a fast moving subject, the EOS 5D Mark IV will deliver professional results.
This kit includes a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L II Lens. This lens complements the versatility of the 5D Mark 4 with a wide focal range, USM autofocus motor, and 4-stop image stabilisation.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera features:

    30.4 Megapixel Full-frame CMOS Sensor

The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV boast a full-frame 30 Megapixel sensor. The high megapixel count delivers images that are rich with detail and also enables ample cropping and recomposing after you have taken the shot. Being a full-frame sensor it shares the same dimensions as a 35mm negative film and provides a wider field-of-view than cropped sensor cameras. This sensor is paired with a DIGIC 6+ image processor to provide the 5D Mark IV with the ability to shoot 4k video internally, and to reduce noise in low light.

Versatile standard light sensitivity of ISO 10032000 (expandable to 50102400)

Featuring a light sensitivity range of ISO 10032000 (expandable to 50102400), the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is incredibly versatile and well-suited for low-light photography. Its sensor has an improved S/N ratio plus an improved noise-processing algorithm to help deliver high-level light sensitivity along with its high resolution, with virtually no compromise in image quality. Whether working in a dimly lit auditorium, trying to capture the action at night, photographing at the fastest possible shutter speed or simply suppressing camera shake blur, the EOS 5D Mark IV has an extended ISO range that contributes to its ability to excel in nearly every situation it faces.

    4K Motion JPEG video (DCI cinema-type 4096 x 2160) at 30p

The EOS 5D Mark IV is a remarkably capable video camera. Thanks to its impressive CMOS sensor and its high-speed DIGIC 6+ Image Processor, it can transition from taking still photographs to shooting videos in a near instant, capturing Digital Cinema (DCI) 4K Motion JPEG videos of 4096 x 2160 pixels at up to 30 fps. Adding to its versatility, it also supports the 4K broadcasting standard of 3840 x 2160 pixels with slight trimming on the left and right sides. Featuring advanced Live View operation and brilliantly responsive Dual Pixel CMOS AF, the EOS 5D Mark IV has a touch panel display with focus points that can easily be selected during operation, and quickly confirmed by selecting and saving an 8.8-Megapixel image with in-camera 4K still frame grab. The camera also supports both MOV and MP4 formats for a variety of applications right out of the camera

60 fps Full HD or 120 fps HD recording for smooth slow motion video

Along with capturing beautiful highly detailed 4K videos, the Canon 5D Mark IV is also able to shoot Full HD video at up 60 to frames per second, or 720p HD at frame rates as high as 120p. These high frame rates are ideal for smooth slow-motion video.

61-point autofocus with f/8 AF for teleconverter/extender setups

The EOS 5D Mark IV has a new AF sensor, with 61 AF points covering a broader vertical area of the image than its predecessor. This autofocus system delivers excellent accuracy and performance, with up to 41 cross-type AF points available, and extra-high-precision AF at up to 25 points on the AF array (when wide-aperture lenses are used). Low-light sensitivity of this AF sensor is also improved, with the center point delivering AF at levels down to EV -4. AF with tele extenders at f/8 maximum effective apertures is also greatly improved AF is possible at up to all 61 AF points, when specific Canon telephoto lenses are combined with Canon's Version III EF tele extenders

    DIGIC 6+ processor

Powering all the EOS 5D Mark IV is Canon's DIGIC 6+ processor. This processor controls autofocus, metering, video data, and image data, then uses that data with advanced algorithms to provide autofocus and metering that is quick and accurate; and produce images and videos that are rich in detail and low in noise, with accurate colours and skin tones.

    EV-3 or EV-4 focusing

With a highly-sensitive AF sensor the focus performance on the EOS 5D Mark IV is assured, even down to light levels as low as EV-3, or EV-4 when shooting in Live View with Dual Pixel CMOS AF.

    Dual Pixel CMOS AF

Adding to its powerful and portable design, the EOS 5D Mark IV camera utilizes Canons smooth, fast and intelligent Dual Pixel CMOS AF. Featuring two photodiodes per pixel and each pixel capable of phase-difference detection autofocus, the CMOS sensor can deliver fast and accurate AF throughout approximately 80% of the image plane. Able to detect shifts in movement at the pixel level, Dual Pixel CMOS AF enables continuous automatic AF and AF tracking that enhances overall camera operation for sharp still images and smooth, accurate focus transitions in movies. Working with the EOS 5D Mark IVs 3.2" touch panel LCD screen, Dual Pixel CMOS AF lets photographers select focus points throughout the frame with the touch of a finger, and confirm focus by zooming in on the image or enlarging stills grabbed from video recordings.

150K RGB+IR metering sensor and EOS iTR AF system

The Canon 5D Mark IV uses a dedicated 150,000-pixel RGB+IR metering sensor to carry out highly accurate exposure metering. This sensor also works in conjunction with the cameras AF systems such as the EOS iTR AF system, which greatly enhances the subject tracking performance. Customise the tracking based on your needs with different modes for when focusing and tracking a face or a different subject

1.62 million dot 3.2" touch panel LCD monitor

The EOS 5D Mark IV camera features a 1.62 million dot, low-reflection 3.2-inch Clear View LCD II monitor for bright, sharp display in a wide variety of shooting situations. The LCDs touch panel surface facilitates fast, intuitive operation, including AF frame switching, menu and setting changes plus image magnification during Live View shooting and movie shooting. Still photographs can also be captured quickly with the touch panels shutter release function. A customizable Quick Control screen adds flexibility and convenience for specific users preferences. Image review and playback are also enhanced with the EOS 5D Mark IV cameras Clear View LCD II Monitor. Not only does the EOS 5D Mark IVs LCD provide a high-precision image for composition and playback, but it also remains visible even when the photographer is wearing polarized sunglasses! In numerous situations in the studio and in the field, the EOS 5D Mark IVs LCD panel is an ideal complement to its amazing TTL viewfinder.

    Dual Pixel RAW

Each of the Canon 5D Mark IVs 30 million pixels is made up of two photodiodes which can be used together or individually. This technology enables the creation of Dual Pixel RAW files which contain a pair of images shot from two very slightly different points of view. When processed using Digital Photo Professional software, Dual Pixel RAW files allow photographers to perform one of three types of unique adjustments. Image Micro-adjustment allows the position of maximum sharpness to be adjusted which is great for fine-tuning portrait images. Bokeh Shift allows out-of-focus highlights to be shifted horizontally so they coincide better with in-focus elements, and ghosting reduction can be used to reduce the appearance of artefacts like flare.

    SD and CF card slots

The EOS 5D Mark IV offers SD and CF card slots accepting fast UDMA 7 cards for a write speed of up to 167MB per second. Fast cards are essential when recording either 4K or high frame-rate videos.

    Microphone and headphones sockets

Microphone and headphone sockets lets you record the perfect soundtrack to your videos and monitor audio for the perfect level.

High dynamic range (HDR) video mode

The Canon 5D MK IV's HDR movie mode can alternate between normal and under-exposed frames, compressing the brightest parts of a scene to retain more highlight detail thus delivering videos with a wider dynamic range.

    Anti-flicker Function

The EOS 5D Mark IV features a cameras anti-flicker function that detects the frequency and phase of a light sources flicker and captures images near the point of peak brightness when the subject is most likely to be properly illuminated.

    Built-in Wi-Fi and NFC

The 5D Mark IV features built-in Wi-Fi and NFC to connect to your smartphone, tablet or laptop. This makes posting to social media platforms easy, as you can send a file from your camera to your mobile device, and from your mobile device to a platform. FTP/FTPS support is great for those shooting in Wi-Fi equipped venues when added security is required.

    Built-in GPS

The 5D MK IV's built-in GPS geotags each image with the taken location and keeps the EOS 5D Mark IVs internal clock accurate. GPS data helps when cataloguing pictures and lets you retrace your steps to find specific shooting locations.

    Remote Operation

The 5D Mark IV can be controlled wirelessly from an iOS or Android smart device running the free Canon Camera Connect App. Remote operation is extremely useful for producing stable video or sharp pictures, as most camera operations can be done without touching the camera.

    Intelligent Viewfinder II

The EOS 5D Mark IV utilises Canon's Intelligent Viewfinder II which offers a bright, customizable view that displays AF points, an electronic level and current camera settings.

    Digital Lens Optimizer

Canon's Digital Lens Optimizer technology , which was previously only accessible when processing RAW files in the camera , can now be applied to JPEG files as they are captured. The Digital Lens Optimizer uses optical design values to correct various lens aberrations, diffraction, and the softening of resolution caused by the low-pass filter .
