    The Sennheiser MKE 200 Ultracompact Camera-Mount Directional Microphone is a compact and lightweight camera or smartphone-based solution to enables you to capture good quality sound, even in noisy environments.

    The Sennheiser MKE 200 Ultracompact Camera-Mount Directional Microphone is a lightweight solution for any modest content creator to produce high-quality sound with a plug-and-play design. Included in the box you will find both a 3.5mm locking TRS cable for your camera, as well as a TRRS 3.5mm locking cable to be used with a smartphone or tablet.

    Ultracompact and Ultralightweight

    The MKE 200 is an ultracompact mic that is an unobtrusive addition to your camera and video rig. An integrated shoe mount makes it possible to mount the MKE 200 to your camera.

    Directional Sound Pickup

    Featuring a super-cardioid polar pattern, meaning sound is only picked up from the front of the mic while attenuating side- and rear-entry.

    Quick and Secure Hookup to Camera, Smartphone, or Tablet

    The MKE 200's 3.5mm output port can be connected to a range of devices using the two supplied coiled cables, each featuring a locking 3.5mm TRS plug on one end that prevents accidental disconnection at the mic.
    One cable is terminated with a standard 3.5mm TRS plug for compatible hookup to your camera, DSLR, or portable handheld audio recorder, while the other cable has a 3.5mm TRRS plug to allow direct connection to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

    No Batteries Required

    The Sennheiser MKE 200 operates on plug-in power, there are no batteries required to run. Just remember to keep the batteries charged.

    Built-In Wind Protection Minimizes Wind Noise

    Knowing that the MKE 200 may be used in challenging shooting conditions, Sennheiser designed the MKE 200 with built-in wind protection, enabling the mic to lessen undesirable wind noise from breezes, fans, heaters, and air conditioners without requiring that you slip on a separate foam windscreen. For maximum reduction of wind noise in outdoor environments, use the included furry windshield.
