The Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens For E- and L-Mount Is Here

Say hello to the Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS lens, Sigma's first ultra-telephoto zoom lens for mirrorless cameras in their Sports line. Designed from the ground up for full-frame mirrorless cameras, this high-performance, functional and sturdy lens is portable and practical, revolutionising the way mirrorless users can capture wildlife, motorsport, and other fast-action subjects.

As we have come to expect from Sigma, the lens boasts ultra-sharp results, even when paired with the highest resolution bodies. It offers gorgeous bokeh throughout its zoom range, and is compatible with both Sigma's 1.4x and 2x L-Mount teleconverters.

The Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS lens delivers fast and accurate autofocus thanks to the high-precision magnetic sensor in its AF unit. When combined with its Optical Stabiliser that offers roughly 4 stops of image stabilisation, this highly responsive lens is capable of tackling the most challenging of subjects. It features a Dual Action Zoom system that includes a straight and ring zoom, dust and splash resistant construction, and customisable switches to speed up the shooting experience in virtually any environment.

The new 150-600mm F5-6.3 utilises the latest optical design technology, with its lens construction of 25 elements in 15 groups including a range of special types of high-performance glass that control various aberrations. These measures produce high-res images with clear detail through the entire zoom range. The quality is also apparent in the out-of-focus areas of the image, with attractive compression and stunning bokeh. Additionally, the lens is resistant to ghosting and flare, producing sharp and high-contrast images even in strong sunlight or backlit conditions.

As part of Sigma's Sports lens lineup, it comes as no surprise that the 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS lens is intended to capture fast-moving subjects. Its AF actuator is controlled by a stepping motor, delivering rapid and quiet autofocus with the ability to track moving objects. The OS functionality is controllable via an OS switch and Custom Mode switch.

The new 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS improves on the design and ergonomics of the previous SLR version, being lighter by 760g and shorter by 26.6mm.
