STUDIO RENTAL

R400 per hour, Rental Includes:

  • 5x Elinchrom lights BX 500 Ri
  • 5 x Power cables
  • 5 x Stands
  • 3 x Soft boxes
  • Godox triggers Beauty dish
  • Extension cables
  • Infinity curve
  • A variety of colour backdrops

    (available at an additional fee
    of R270 per metre)

Not Included:
Profoto gear is not included
in the standard rental rate
but can be arranged at an
additional cost on request.

Availability Confirmation:
Studio availability will be subject to confirmation after receiving shoot details.

Advance Booking Preferred:
We encourage clients to make advance bookings to facilitate effective planning.

Payment Terms:
Payment for the studio rental must be made in advance by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), credit card, or cash.

Providing Shoot Details:
Clients are required to furnish all necessary details related to the shoot, including but not limited to product, fashion, portraits, etc.

DARKROOM RENTAL

At Orms, we take pride in offering darkroom facilities for photography enthusiasts and professionals. Our darkroom is designed to cater to the needs of those who value the art of traditional photography processing.

Hourly Darkroom Access:

  • Rate: Our darkroom is available at an hourly rate of R300
  • Exclusions: Please note that this rate does not include the cost of chemistry and photographic paper, which must be supplied by the user.
  • Requirements: To maintain the highest standards of quality and safety, we require that all users of the darkroom have sufficient experience and proficiency in darkroom techniques. 

Annual Membership Program:

  • Membership Fee: For our frequent users, we offer an exclusive annual membership at R3000. This membership is an excellent option for those who regularly require darkroom access and wish to engage more deeply with their photographic practice.
  • Benefits: This membership allows for a maximum of six hours of darkroom use per week during our standard opening hours. 
  • Exclusions: Similar to our hourly access, the membership fee does not cover the costs of photographic paper and chemistry, which must be provided by the member. However a 5% discount will be provided for these materials.

Bookings can be made for times during our regular opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm) or after-hours until 9pm Monday to Thursday.  Weekend availability is also an option, but not guaranteed.
