The Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" HDMI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder is designed to be an HDMI-only device. Featuring a 1920x1080 resolution with a bright 1500 cd/m² that produces rich and accurate colour precision.
The Ninja TX GO supports the use of select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. The HDMI input supports up to 6K30, 4K60, along with 1080p120 video. The loop-through HDMI output passes incoming HDMI signals from the attached camera body to another device, such as a wireless transmitter or live streaming encoder.
The Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" HDMI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder features a CFexpress Type B slot, along with dual USB-C recording outputs with ultrafast data transfer rates based on PCIe and NVMe protocols.
The Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" can be powered via the included L-Series battery plate, using an additionally available NP-F battery. Alternatively, an optional battery eliminator can be used to provide DC power to the monitor.
5.2" Touchscreen Display
The Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" HDMI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder offers 1920 x 1080 resolution with a brighter 1500 cd/m² display providing you with rich, accurate colour precision, even in broad daylight.
The 8/10-bit colour processing, HDR support, Rec. 709 colour gamut, and Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration support ensure colour-accurate, high-quality monitoring of your footage.
Updated Linux Operating System
Redesigned for the new Ninja TX/TX GO, the AtomOS Linux operating system provides updated tools, a sleeker design, and more efficient, cooler operation.
Wireless Features
AtomX Connect features are now built into the monitor, providing expanded connectivity features.
With the built-in license, the Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" HDMI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder can be fully integrated into an NDI environment, either as an NDI source or as an NDI receiver, providing high-quality, low-bandwidth video.
Camera to Cloud
Camera to Cloud (C2C) makes it possible for you to upload video files directly from the Ninja TX GO to the cloud. Other than previous models, the monitor features everything needed with C2C built in, supporting direct progressive upload to their own platform, ATOMOSphere, as well as Adobe Frame.io and Dropbox.
Comprehensive Colour and Metadata
The Ninja TX GO supports the use of select Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon log formats. Upload custom 3D LUTs to the monitor and output HDR conversion to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats.
Via the HDMI input, you can record raw metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed/angle, Iris F stop, ISO, gamma, and gamut.
HDMI Input/Output
The HDMI input on the Ninja TX 5.2" Camera to Cloud Monitor/Recorder supports 8K video up to 30 fps, up to 4K60, and up to 1080p120. The incoming HDMI signal from the camera to another device, such as an external monitor, wireless transmitter or live streaming encoder, through a loop-through pass.
Recording/USB Features
Another enhancement is the CFexpress Type B slot, along with dual USB-C recording outputs, which support ultrafast data transfer rates based on PCIe and MVMe protocols that are designed for scalability and futureproofing.
In addition to recording directly to storage, the USB-C ports can also be used for calibration, custom 3D LUT uploads, adding audio devices, and firmware updates.
Power Options
On the rear of the Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" Camera to Cloud Monitor/Recorder, you will find a L-series battery plate accepting NP-F L-series batteries. Alternatively, you can use an optional (not included) battery eliminator to provide DC power to the monitor.
Comprehensive Monitoring Tools
You will find a comprehensive suite of simple, one-touch monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including focus peaking, zoom (2:1, 1:1), zebras, false color (including ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveforms, RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support with profile and preset options (including .cube file uploads). It also provides anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring to correct the ratio for anamorphic lens setups.
Control Options
The Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" Camera to Cloud Monitor/Recorder features multifunction control buttons that work in tandem with a touchscreen for a more intuitive onboard control.
Using Atomos Open Standard, an auto HDMI camera trigger is supported by Sony and Canon cameras.
LANC control and calibration can be accessed using a separately available USB-C to serial connection cable.
