Some major improvements to the Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR Monitor include, a slimmer and lighter design, a 50% brighter display sitting at 1500 cd/m². USB-C camera control with status indicators for Canon, Sony, Panasonic and Z CAM.

The Shinobi II additionally features the newly developed AtomOS 11 interface, USB-C PD power I/O, a locking HDMI and USB-C adapter and updated imagery tools. Battery usage on the Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR Monitor is much lower than the predecessor, this makes it possible for you to run the monitor all day on a single battery.

    Camera Control

On the Atomos Shinobi II 5.2" HDMI HDR Monitor, you can make use of the USB-C port to provide control to the latest mirrorless or DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM E2 Line. Expanding the control compatibility, you will also find a 2.5mm LANC port on the side.
Note: This will expand with future support for cameras from FUJIFILM, Nikon, OM System, and Sigma with firmware updates.

    Camera Status

Using the Camera Status Indicator, you can easily view your camera settings such as battery status and remaining recording times.
A red barrier can be seen around the edge of the monitor when recording internally, whether it is triggered on the camera itself or on the Shinobi II.

AtomOS 11 and Advanced Image Tools

Use the Shinobi II Monitor interface to adjust your camera lenses' aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO with its built-in exposure tools, such as false colour, waveforms, zebras, or histogram, and achieve perfect exposure on every shot.

    Brighter Display

With 1500 cd/m² peak brightness, the screen on this Shinobi is easily readable whether indoors, or in bright sunlight. The screen is approximately 50% brighter than the predecessor.
