The Blackmagic Design 80TB Cloud Store is designed for workflows where large file media needs to be shared between multiple users like feature film productions. An is well suited for editing, colour correction, audio, post, and VFX work. With a total large capacity, the Blackmagic Design Cloud Store is made up of multiple MVMe M.2 SSDs that are preconfigured as RIAD 5 as well as capable of handling BlackMagic 12K raw digital files.
The Blackmagic Design 80TB Cloud Store features 4 10GbE ports that can also be used as a network switch as well as two Gigabit Ethernet ports. You will also find two 5 Gb/s USB Type-C ports, one of these ingests content from an external drive, and the other 5 Gd/s USB Type-C port can be used to back up cloud data to a USB drive.
Both USB Type-c ports also support Ethernet connectivity. The single HDMI output allows keeping track of your Cloud Store's status and many more stats.
Designed for Film and Television
The Blackmagic Design 80TB Cloud Store is perfect for any use, but especially for film and television work where large files can be shared between multiple users for editing, colour correction, audio, post, and VFX work. The Blackmagic Design 20TB Cloud Store is even capable of handling massive 12K Blackmagic raw digital cinema files. Being the perfect solution for BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve, while DropBox sync allows for different disks to be synchronized in different locations globally.
Flash Memory Allows for Multiple Simultaneous Users
The a total storage space of 80TB of flash memory there is more than enough space for lots of large files. That makes it perfect for television productions as the unit is small enough to be easily portable. Furthermore, the four M.2 cards are arranged in a parallel RAID 5 group, this enables them to operate much faster than with a single card.

Add Cloud Service
Make sure your Blackmagic Design 80TB Cloud Store is connected to the internet. Enter your Dropbox account details, so the Cloud Store Mini can gain access to allow sync.
Set Sync Folders as well as Direction
Next you need to set the sync folders. That tells the Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini where to sync its files to the remote Dropbox. You can have multiple sync folders for different jobs.
Now set the sync direction. One direction is good when you have local files you want to share, but not enough room for everyone's files. Both directions mean everyone gets the same set of files.
Perfect Multi-Camera Video Workflow
The Blackmagic Design 80TB Cloud Store allows for broadcast quality video workflows with recording from a HyperDeck Extreme directly into the Cloud Store.
This makes this device a perfect DaVinci Resolve multi-cam editing solution. HyperDeck Extreme can record ProRes, H.265, or DNx video formats into the Cloud Store using its high-speed 10G Ethernet connection.
