The Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod enables you to use any USB Type-C disk into a network storage device. You can connect up to two USB Type-C drives using the two available 5Gb/s USB Type-C ports. It then provides network access using the available 10GbE RJ45 port, this then enables simultaneous sharing of media with up to 50 users on your network.
The Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod features Dropbox Live Sync, allowing you to share files globally as well as sync to your Cloud Pod automatically. This unit allows for working with broadcast quality video in BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve and is compatible with Windows as well as Mac.

    Designed for Film and Television

It's perfect for film and television because you can record onto USB Type-C flash disks and then use the Blackmagic Cloud Pod to make the disk available on the network for multiple editors and colourists to use. This unit is even able to handle 12k Blackmagic RAW digital cinema files, depending on the USB disk used. Dropbox sync allows you to place pods in different locations so everyone can have a fast, local copy of their files. Then each location gets the fastest editing experience possible.

    Portable and Quiet Design

Because the Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod does not have internal storage it features it can employ an extremely small and thin form factor, which makes it quiet and portable. With two USB Type-C ports, it can accommodate two separate USB disks at the same time.

    Live Sync to Dropbox

With the Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod, you are able to set up a local cache for your Dropbox files. This allows you to instantly access files without the need to download them from the internet. You can even sync multiple Blackmagic Cloud Pods or Cloud Stores via Dropbox so people in different geographic locations can collaborate without latency because everyone has a local copy of the files. That makes it a good home or offsite solution.

    Set Sync Folders

That tells the Blackmagic Cloud Pod where to sync its files to the remote Dropbox. You can have multiple sync folders for different jobs.

    Set Sync Direction

When local files are to be shared it is best to set them in one direction but not enough space to fit everyone's files.
Both directions mean everyone gets the same set of files.

    High Performance 10G Ethernet

Typically found on high-end workstations, the Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod features a high-speed 10G Ethernet port. Even when there are many workstations accessing files, the Cloud Pod will be maintaining 10G Ethernet with low latency for ensuring fast access times.

    Perfect Multi-Camera Workflow

This provides broadcast-quality video workflows by connecting USB Type-C disks recorded on camera to the USB Type-C port onto the BlackMagic Cloud Pod. You can now have multiple DaVinci Resolve workstations access the files without any file copying.
