The Canon EOS C50 Digital Cinema Camera Body is a highly versatile full-frame RF mount hybrid Cinema EOS camera. For a professional setup, the EOS C 50 is the smallest to date in the Canon Cinema line. Due to the small form factor, it seamlessly fits into a wide variety of filming setups and is ideal for fast-paced shoots.

The compact design of the Canon EOS C50 Digital Cinema Camera Body should not be underestimated, as it conceals a wealth of professional capabilities. At the heart of this, you will find a newly developed 7K full-frame CMOS sensor that, in conjunction with an advanced DIGIC DV 7 processor to produce outstanding image quality for both still and video applications. These include internal RAW video recording at up to 7K 60P, high frame rate recording at up to 4K 120P and 2K 180P. To round it all of, it will produce high-resolution 32MP still photos.

The Canon EOS C50 Digital Cinema Camera Body is the first C EOS camera offering open gate recording, where the full sensor area is used for maximum resolution and flexibility. This also provides you with a larger image by using the full circle of a full-frame lens, providing more flexibility in post-production. Horizontal and vertical movie formats can be edited from the same footage.

The Simultaneous Crop Recording Function is ideal for a videographer facing fast turnarounds. Here, a full-angle image and a cropped vertical or square version can be captured at the same time this is ideal for social media and advertising.

The Canon EOS C 50 Digital Cinema Camera takes full advantage of the Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, ideal for both still and video applications, offering high-speed and accurate subject detection and tracking. Precision tracking extends to the ability to prioritise which eye to focus on in humans, dogs, cats and birds.

For improved control and comfort while in use, you will find a detachable handle unit featuring two full-sized 3-pin XLR audio terminals and control dials for professional-quality audio recording. Furthermore, you will find a REC button and zoom rocker for a more convenient, compact-style control during fast-paced shoots.
