    A groundbreaking RF mount cinema camera, the Canon EOS C80 Digital Cinema Camera seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology in a compact and ergonomic design. The Canon EOS C 80 Digital Cinema Camera is the second cinema camera in the Canon Cine lineup featuring the revolutionary backside illuminated (BSI) stacked CMOS sensor capable of capturing full frame 6K imagery with 16 stops of dynamic range.

    Featuring Canon's renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology that is now enhanced capabilities providing unparalleled precision and responsiveness. No matter how complex the shot, pin-sharp face, eye and head tracking ensures the subject remains in focus.

    The Canon EOS C80 Digital Cinema Camera features a redesigned removable top handle that not only improves comfort but extends the range of compatible audio accessories. The rear LCD Touchscreen features a brighter display for better visibility in outdoor environments with a joystick design closer to the thumb for enhanced ease of use. The EOS C 80 excels in this regard, offering robust built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for effortless file transfer, remote camera control, IP streaming, and streamlined collaboration on set.

    The Canon EOS C80 offers a range of professional range of high framerates and professional recording formats to meet the increasing demands and workflow of any production. These include 12-bit Cinema RAW Light of up to 6K 30, and Canon's new MP4 video formats like XF-AVC-S and XF-HEVC-S delivering oversampled 4K 4:2:2 10-bit image quality. All recording formats benefit from detailed metadata and structured filenames to ensure seamless orginisation and efficient editing.

    6K Full-Frame Sensor

    The Canon EOS C80 features a 6K full-frame CMOS sensor at its heart offering exceptional low noise, increased sensitivity efficiency, and better 4K imagery via 6K oversampling. The back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor makes all this possible thanks to improved light capture technology.

    Multiple Recording Formats

    The Canon EOS C80 Digital Cinema Camera features multiple recording formats, these include full-frame 6K30 Canon Cinema RAW Light LT and cropped S35 up to 4K30 in RAW ST and 4K60 in RAW LT.
    Oversampled 4K 120p or 2K 180p with maximized detail is available, all with 4:2:2 10-bit colour and slow and fast motion can be captured at rates up to UHD 4K120 in HEVC and AVC codecs.

    RF Lens Mount

    The built-in RF lens mount makes the C80 compatible with Canon's line of reliable and fast RF lens lineup. They offer advanced coatings and image stabilisation.

    Dual-Pixel CMOS Autofocus

    The improved Dual-Pixel CMOS AF technology uses each pixel on about 100% of the sensor for focus detection and image information. The back-illuminated stacked sensor's excellent light capture widens the sensor area, which can be used for AF.
    EOS iTR AF X autofocus is also available, which is an algorithm developed using deep-learning technology to detect the human form.

    Built-In ND Filters

    A built-in thin motorized ND filter enables users to quickly select up to 10 stops of density. With an ND button control on the right-hand side enables you to adjust exposure while maintaining the shot's depth of field.

    Multiple Interfaces Including 12G-SDI

    The Canon EOS C 80 Digital Cinema Camera has multiple video outputs, these include full-size HDMI and 12G-SDI BNC outputs that can be used simultaneously for feeding an onboard monitor, video transmitter or EVF.
    Making multi-camera shooting easy, a BNC connector allows users to input and output timecode.

    Mini-XLR Audio Inputs

    Professional audio recording options are also available with two mini-XLR inputs with phantom power and manual control.
    Further, you will find an internal stereo microphone and a 3.5mm microphone input.

    Log2/3 and 3D LUT Support

    For greater post-production flexibility, the C80 offers Canon's Log 2 and Log 3 gamma modes. The Canon EOS C80 Digital Cinema Camera Body (RF Lens Mount) also supports 3D LUTs, so you can get the most accurate colour reproduction on both the LCD and your external viewing monitors.

    Compact Design with Tilting LCD

    Featuring a lightweight weight design features a lightweight design with an ergonomic grip and joystick control. The C 80 features a Multi-Accessory hot shoe and comes with a detachable handle and microphone handle.
    The LCD screen features a reinforced hinge and built-in controls like focus peaking, waveforms and more.

    Dual SD Card Slots / Multiple Recording Options

    Dual SD card slots on the EOS C80 offer simultaneous, relay, and proxy video recording. The EOS C80 can also capture JPEG still photos.

    Ethernet and Wi-Fi Control

    Compatibility with the Canon Multicamera Control app for iPhone provides monitoring and start/stop, focus, iris, zoom, ND filter, ISO, shutter, white balance, custom picture control, and more. The built-in Ethernet port along with Wi-Fi can be used with optional extras to access the XC protocol-base remote control.

    BP-AN Series Battery

    The Canon EOS C 80 Digital Cinema Camera Body (RF Lens Mount) can be powered via the included or compatible battery or a 24VDC adapter. The order BP-A battery can also be used, but will not power the Multi-Accessory hot shoe.
