With the Canon EOS R 6 MIII, you will experience the perfect balance between resolution, speed and reliability from the newly developed full frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X Processor delivering 32.5 megapixels and up to 460fps continuous shooting to capture more details than its predecessor. You will also appreciate the expanded buffer, capable of handling up to 150 RAW images.

In terms of filmmaking, the EOS R6III records stunning 7K RAW Light footage up to 60p. For a slower and more dramatic result, it also supports 4K120p. Full HD 180 fps recording is also available for creative slow-motion effects.

The Canon R6 M III nests itself as your trusted companion, especially in high-paced environments such as weddings and sporting events with with improved tracking algorithms that effortlessly lock on to a moving subject and keep the subject sharp and in focus across the frame, these include trains, planes and horses. The Register People Priority function allows you to pre-select up to 10 faces for priority tracking.

Another notable upgrade from the predecessor, the Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera, enables content to easily be repurposed across platforms with Open Gate. This feature captures the entire sensor's output to enable more flexibility in framing, stabilisation and post-production.

Excelling in low light, the Canon EOS R 6 M III Mirrorless Camera offers you an expansive ISO range of up to 64,000 for a clean and detailed image, even in challenging lighting conditions. For a comfortable handheld experience, you will appreciate the combined image stabilisation system providing up to 8.5 stops.

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera features multiple customisable controls along with a weather-resistant body design that makes this a camera designed to fit seamlessly into any creative workflow you through at it. Dual aspect markers frame for multiple platforms in one shot. To assist in better organisation and security, you find dual card slots supporting fast, high-capacity CFexpress Type B cards along with the widely used UHS-II SD card.

    32.5MP Full-Frame Sensor and DIGIC X Processing

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera offers a 34% increase in resolution from its predecessor with a 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor offering greater sharpness, print resolution, and cropping ability. Paired with the DIGIC X processor, you are provided with excellent image quality, low noise, and a broad sensitivity range. This processing powers also manage the advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system along with continuous shooting, video recording and IBIS functions.
The upgraded multimedia nature of the camera offers support for high-speed bursts as well as high-res 7K video. The DIGIC X supports up to 40 fps continuous shooting with a silent electronic shutter, and 12 fps with a mechanical shutter, along with AF and AE reading to each frame.

    SCN Shooting Modes

SCN Shooting Modes is intended for use by newcomers to photography, as an alternative to post-production, you can now amend how your photos look straight from the camera.
The available modes include Portrait, Smooth Skin Portrait, Group Photo, Landscape, Panoramic Shot, Sports, Kids, Panning, Close-up, Food Night Portrait, Handheld Night Scene, HDR Backlight Control, and even Silent Shutter.
For video applications, Smooth Skin Movie, Close-Up Demos, Movie IS, and HDR settings can be used.

    7K Video Recording

Beyond the impressive photography features, the R6 M III is also a highly capable video camera optimised for creators working across mediums. It can record internally 7K video up to 60p in 12-bit Canon RAW Light Movie. When recording to an optional external recorder, 7K footage up to 30p in ProRes RAW can be shot.
Open Gate 3:2 recording is possible in 7K 30p in 10-bit MP4 or 12-bit RAW formats. Open Gate is most useful when shooting for social media, as there is a greater recording area to crop from when resizing to vertical 9:16 format or other aspect ratios such as 1:1, 4:3, or 4:5.
Another major improvement in the R6III is support for both DCI 4K and UHD 4K recording at up to 119.8p for 5x slow motion playback in a 23.98p timeline. For added sharp and clean footage, 4K FINE mode employs oversampling for improved image quality in DCI 4K and UHD 4K resolutions in the XF AVC S format.

    LUTs and Colour Control

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera features some colour and style tools to affect the look of your imagery, this provides more in-camera control over the look of the image.
The Canon Log 2 profile can be used to improve dynamic range, along with gaining 15+ stops of exposure latitude for better control while colour grading. You are able to apply LUTs, enabling you to apply these in-camera via the Apply Look function. Within the Apply Look function, you are able to register 17-grid or 33-grid.cude LUTs.
14 Colour Filters make it easy for you to add colour and tone adjustments to your JPEG photos or video. A new Custom Picture menu provides direct access to Canon Log 2, Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, Canon 709, BT.709, Colour Filters, and other user-adjustable parameters.

    Additional Video Fundctions

By pressing the Magnify button, you are able to enlarge the image, where you can check focus without interrupting the clip. To ensure you never miss a moment, Pre-Recording starts a clip recording up to 5 seconds before the record button is pressed. Focus breathing correction can be activated when used with compatible lenses to mitigate the effect of optical focus breathing.

    Dual Pixel CMOS AF II

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera employs the Dual Pixel CMOS AF II System for notably fast, responsive, and precise focusing for both your still and video needs.
This phase-detect system features intelligent Subject Detection capable of identifying humans, animals, and vehicles. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system then locks onto subjects and tracks them while moving. For the first time in an EOS 6-series camera, you will find the Register People Priority function, allowing you to register a photograph of a person in-camera to prioritise them over other people. Up to 10 people can be registered at a time using this function.
Custom button functions can be set to register a focus preset position to function similarly to the focus recall buttons found on your Canon super-telephoto lenses.

    8.5-Stop Sensor-Shift Image Stabiliser

To avoid camera shake and sharper handheld shooting in low-light conditions, you will find an upgraded In-Body Image Stabilisation (IBIS) system that compensates for up to 8.5 stops of camera shake at the centre of the frame, and 7.5 stops at the periphery of the image.
Furthermore, Movie Digital IS combines the optical and sensor shift stabilisation methods along with digital IS for steady imagery while recording moving.

    EVF and Vari-Angle Touchscreen LCD

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera features a high-resolution 3.69m-dot 0.5" 0.76x electronic viewfinder for bright and detailed eye-level viewing.
On the rear of the camera, you will find a 3.0" 1.62m-dot LCD touchscreen with a vari-angle design, ideal for front-facing shooting and from high to low shooting angles. Benefitting video shooters, exposure monitoring tools from Cinema EOS cameras are featured, too, including zebra display, false colour, and waveform monitor.

    Reliable and Intuitive Handling

With dual memory card slots, you will find one SD card slot along with a single CFexpress Type B slot. This configuration enables you to shoot for longer periods of time and videographers to record at higher resolutions and create longer clips.
Perfect for working in inclement weather conditions and adding durability, the R6 Mark 3 body features a magnesium alloy chassis along with a dust and moisture-resistant design. Coming with the Canon LP-E6P battery, the camera is rated for up to 620 shots per shot.

    Flexible Connectivity

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III Mirrorless Camera offers wired as well as wireless connectivity options to transfer photos and videos, along with options for remotely controlling the camera.
Wired connectivity options include an HDMI port when working with an external recorder. For audio monitoring, you will find a 3.5mm headphone jack and a port for adding an external microphone. You will also find a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for in-camera charging and file transfers, the USB-C port also enables use of the camera as a Full HD 30p webcam with support for UVC/UAC protocols.
