The DJI Mic Mini 2S Two-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System for Camera and Smartphone now features 32-bit float to ensure your audio is kept secure for easy recovery in post without clipping or loss.
Both transmitters feature approximately 14.5GB of internal storage that offers about 28 hours of loop internal 24-bit storage. You can set your transmitters to record internally upon startup, or to sync to the receiver.
For fast transfer speeds of up to 34 MB/s (30 minutes of 24-bit audio transfers in about 8 seconds). Simply connect your charging case with the transmitters in it to a computer or smartphone for transfers.
Two-level AI noise cancelling built into the DJI Mic Mini 2 S is powered by DJI's new proprietary noise-cancelling AI model. Choose between either the Strong or Basic modes to suppress ambient noise for crystal clear audio. In the box, you will also find windscreens to attach to the transmitters to effectively reduce wind noise, or other unwanted noise from entering the microphone capsule.
The Mini 2 S offers levels of adaptive gain control, providing Clipping Control to reduce sudden spikes to preserve audio quality in volatile environments such as racetracks. Then Loudness Balance dynamically adjust gain to stabilise volume for interviews and live streams.
The transmitter, weighing just about 12g, easily mounts to your talent via magnetic clips to function as an unobtrusive lavalier microphone. The clip is fully rotatable for easy positioning in any direction for optimal audio alignment.
A single DJI Mic Mini 2S Receiver can be paired with up to four transmitters simultaneously. This makes it ideal for podcasts and commercial shoots. For a cost-effective setup, Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, and Mic Mini 2S transmitters and receivers support mix and match. Mic Mini 2S transmitters also connect directly to the Mic Series Mobile Receiver.
The Mini 2S transmitter features Mono, Stereo, and Quadraphonic modes for diverse audio routing. Safety track can also be recorded in the DJI Mimo App for a backup at -6dB to prevent issues such as clipping and distortion.
Using the DJI Mimo app, the transmitters automatically connect to the smartphone for recording or live stream apps. Instant Reconnection is made possible where the transmitters store pairing data for up to two receivers and one compatible Osmo camera. This means that devices reconnect automatically after the initial pairing.
With the Mic Mini 2 S transmitter connected to the 2S receiver, your transmission distances can reach up to 400 meters.
On a single full charge, the transmitters may last up to 11 hours, and the receiver up to 10 hours before a recharge is needed. With the charging case fully charged, you can expect up to 3.2 full charges before the case needs a charge. This allows for up to 40 hours of extended use.
