The DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 is an add-on accessory for the DJI Osmo Mobile 8P. It is designed to expand tracking, lighting and other functions through USB-C connection. It attaches via the gimbal’s roll axis using a reversible mount and remains compatible with DJI OM magnetic clamps and mounting accessories.

The DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 uses on-device processing to enable subject tracking by being less reliant on the connected smartphone. Tracking is supported for people, animals, vehicles and selected objects once defined. 

When filming alone, the gesture control option is very useful as tracking can be started and stopped without touching the device.

A built-in fill light provides adjustable brightness and colour temperature for shooting in low-light conditions, while maintaining a compact form factor. The DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 also supports phone charging when used with the appropriate cable, extending recording time during use.
