The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL is a powerful, portable TTL 500w battery powered flash which can be used both on, or off camera. The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL features full TTL with both Canon and Nikon cameras (Separate Camera brand specific Elinchrom Transmitter PRO required); is FP- and HSS-sync capable for flash syncs speeds of up to 1/8000 s; and features fast flash durations of up to 1/20000Sec.
Powerful 500w flash
The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL flash features a max power rating of 500w at full power, making it up to 10 times more powerful than an average flashgun/speedlight. For on location work, the battery will give up to 400 full-power flashes per charge, and for shooting in studio you can use mains power while also providing an active charge.
Lightweight
The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL head weighs just 600g, and the unit with the battery weighs 2.48 kg.
Full TTL functionality
The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL features full TTL metering, enabling the head to automatically change flash output, simply point, shoot, and get correctly exposed pictures.
Fast
The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL features a fast flash duration range of up to 1/20000 Sec. and features both HSS (Canon) and FP-sync (Nikon) compatibility to enable the flash head to be triggered at a flash sync speed of up to 1/8000 Sec. Additionally, the flash also features a fast recycling time of 0.05 - 2 seconds.
