Introducing the brand new and stylish ultra-wide-angle Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR Lens thats specifically designed for APS-C format cameras, allowing you to capture just about anything from landscapes, architecture, portraits, interior photography and many more with its 121-degree angle view. The Fujifilm XF 8-16 features a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 to produce exceptionally bright high-quality images from edge-to-edge and is equivalent to 12-24 in the 35mm format.
The lens construction features a variety of advanced functions and specs such as the four aspherical lens elements to control distortion and spherical aberration, and six ED lens elements including the three super ED elements in order to control lateral chromatic aberration, silent and fast autofocus, rounded 9-blade diaphragm and a correction element that automatically adjusts according to the position of the zoom in order to achieve edge-to-edge sharpness throughout its zoom range.

Field Curvature Correction Mechanism
Field curvature usually occurs in ultra-wide-angle lenses which can be corrected as the lens construction features a correction element, which adjusts according to the position of the zoom in order to achieve edge-to-edge sharpness.
Double Nano-GI Coating
To eliminate ghosting and flare, caused by oblique light, Fujifilm has applied Nano-GI coating to the rear surface of the two front lens elements in order to create clear images throughout its zoom range.
Silent and Fast Autofocus
The Fujifilm XF 8-16mm lens incorporates linear motors for autofocus, to achieve smooth, quiet and ultra-fast autofocus.
Weather Sealed Construction
The barrel of the lens is sealed at 11 places in order to avoid dust, moisture and low temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius from damaging the lens. Fluorine coating has also been applied to the front of the lens to repel water and dirt, adding additional durability so that the lens can perform outdoors.
