Broadcast Mode

The Hollyland Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiver Monitor features wireless broadcast technology enabling a single transmitter to connect up to four receivers with a stable, line-of-sight signal.
In broadcast mode, it can transmit signals to a maximum of 4 receivers. And when deactivated, the transmitter can transmit signals to up to two receivers and up to two mobile devices.

Large, Bright Monitor

The large 5.5" Display on the Pyro5 features a maximum brightness of 1500 cd/m² enables a clear viewing experience in all environments, from bright sunlight to dim environments.

Versatile I/O

Operate the Pyro as either a transmitter or receiver. When used in transmitter mode, it features one HDMI input, one SDI input and one HDMI loop output. Then, in receiver mode, one HDMI output is featured.

Quick Source Switching

The Hollyland Pyro5 Wireless Transceiver Monitor enables seamless connection with all Pyro series units using the grouping preset.
Using two customisable buttons, multiple devices can be grouped and instantly switched between cameras.

Long Transmission Range

Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz technology provides a stable line-of-sight transmission range of up to 400 meters with a minimal transmission latency of 60ms with no image degradation.
You have the option to choose between two transmission modes. In Smooth Mode, adjust to the lowest latency for longer distances, while HD modeoptimises your image for a bit rate of up to 12 Mb/s.

Auto Dual-Band Hopping and Smart Channel Selection

Both Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) and Auto Frequency Hopping (AFH) operate at 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Now the clearest channel for reliable and uninterrupted wireless video transmission is automatically chosen. The included omnidirectional high-gain antennas also assist in ensuring a stable signal in all directions.
Smart Channel Selection makes it possible for you to manually scan and switch frequencies using visual signal strength indicators.

Efficient Proxy Recording

With the Hollyland Pyro5 you are able to record Proxy files directly to your SD card or USB drive while monitoring. For improved camera sync, files do include timecode.

HD Mode and Smooth Mode

• HD mode delivers 12 Mb/s bit rate video at a 75 ms latency
• Smooth mode dynamically adjusts the bit rate and delivers video at 60 ms for longer distance transmission

RTMP Streaming

The Hollyland Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiver Monitor features built-in RTMP streaming, which allows you to easily stream video to platforms such as Zoom, YouTube Live, Twitch, TikTok, and more.

Video Recording to SD Card

A single SD card slot allows for extended MP4 video recording up to 40 minutes in a single session. The Sd card slot can also be used to apply custom LUTs during video exports.
Use the SD card slot to import data from external devices and ingest on-set screenshots, and then overlaying it onto the current recording screen for scene restoration or replication purposes.

Image Tools

The Hollyland Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiver Monitor features a custom key option, which can be used for dual-view monitoring.
The custom key feature can also be used to quickly launch tools such as waveform, recording, focus assist, and more image analysis functions.
