8K30 360° Video

The Insta360 X4 Air 360° Action Camera offers you ultrasharp 8K resolutions, which makes framed video on par with standard camera footage for easy post editing. Because footage is captured with high-quality H.265 compression, the 8K files are small enough to edit in the free-to-download Insta360 App for both iOS and Android, or in the Insta360 Studio.
NOTE: 8K should only be captured in bright daylight, it is then recommended to lower capture resolution in more challenging shooting conditions. Also, 8K recording does use more power than lower resolutions.

6K/4K Capture and Me Mode

Smooth video is captured at ultrahigh resolution, up to 8K30, 6K48, and 4K60. With an invisible selfie stick, you can activate the Me Mode, which records a 170° field of view flat video. This is perfect for POV video, at up to UHD 4K30 and 1080p120 slow-motion with external stitching.
AdaptiveTone automatically balances brightness, colour, and contrast from each lens for crisp, natural-looking videos. Active HDR boost colours in the highlights and shadows and captures high detail in low light conditions.

29MP Still Photo Capture

High-quality 29MP stills can be captured, delivering ready-to-share images with low noise and high-quality colour. Still images are produced in 7680 x 3840 resolutions.

2 Cameras in 1 with 4K60 Single-Lens Mode

The Insta360 X4 Air 360° Action Camera effectively provides you with two cameras in one compact body, where it doubles as a wide-angle action camera with the Insta360 InstaFrame mode. While filming with one lens, it supports up to 4K60 single-lens capture. You are even able to turn a 360° shot into a split-screen using the app.
When capturing in 360° mode, you do not even need to aim the camera in a certain direction to get the shot. It captures every angle, so you just hit the record button to capture every moment where the desired shot can then be selected in the Insta360 App.

Invisible Selfie Stick for Third-Person Views

When you have your camera attached to a compatible selfie stick, you are able to make the stick disappear from the shot.
This enables you to capture aerial angles and third-person perspectives that are possible to achieve without a second operator.

Mobile Insta360 App

Within the free-to-download Insta360 Mobile App for both iOS and Android, you are able to edit footage with ease, including:

• Pro Mode: For a hands-on approach, you can manually add keyframes and perform advanced edits using the Pro tab.
• Shot Lab: A collection of stock effects makes editing easy.
• Motion ND: Apply cinema ND filters without the need for actual filters to achieve the Motion ND effect.
• App Background Downloading: Download footage from the camera while the Insta360 app runs quietly in the background, leaving your phone free for other tasks.

AI Gesture and Voice Control

Now you are able to use hand gestures to start/stop recording or take a photo. This is perfect for group shots, noisy locations, or with the camera on a selfie stick.
Additionally, you can use Twist to Shoot5, allowing you to move the camera back and forth to start and stop recording. Lastly, you can use your voice to control the camera from a distance.

Replaceable Lens Guards

The Insta360 X4 Air 360° Action Camera offers the ability to replace lens guards. This allows you to use the camera in the field without damaging the lenses.

With 360° Horizon Lock, the camera keeps your footage perfectly level, even when you completely rotate the camera.

Waterproof Design

You are able to go straight into the water with the X4 Air without an additional dive case, down to up to 15 meters. For deeper depths, a separately available (not included) dive case is also available.

Connectivity Options

The Insta360 X4 Air features a USB-C 3.0 port to connect your camera to a computer to charge or offload footage. Via Wi-Fi transmissions, your camera can be linked to your phone using the Insta360 App.
When needed to record straight to the X4Air, you can use a single microSD card with UHS-I V30 minimum class up to 1TB in size.
