Featuring dual 1/1.1" square sensors, the Insta360 X6 360° camera features superior image quality of up to 8K50fps in 360° video. This is a 33% increase in sensor size over the predecessor to boost efficiency for sharper resolution, better low-light performance, and richer overall image quality. One 8-core 3.3 GHz 4nm CPU paired with two dedicated professional imaging chips forms a purpose-built 360 videography system.

The 360° video system is powered by AdaptiveTone 2.0, the X 6 reads and records the full lighting range of any scene to preserve all details in both highlights and shadows for more vivid and true-to-life colours. Built-in is also two new ambient light sensors to dramatically reduce light flicker in mixed lighting scenarios.

Straight from the camera, the Insta 360 X6 records 10-bit colour to capture over 1.07 billion shades for a professional-grade colour profile. This is also the first 360° camera to support Dolby Vision natively in-camera, analysing each frame individually to deliver true-to-life visuals right out of the box.

The audio system in the X 6 has also been fully upgraded with 360° wind-protected microphones for full surround-sound audio without interference. The environment you are shooting in is also automatically detected to select the most appropriate audio profile. 

The Insta360 X6 360 8K Camera is the smallest Insta360 X camera to date. You will also find a brand new OLED display with vivid colours and a sharp display with up to 1200 nits of brightness, allowing the screen to be clearly visible in any level of lighting. For enhanced ease of use, the screen features a pressure sensor, allowing you to press anywhere on the screen to start/stop recording, even with gloves on. The lenses have also been upgraded to the new tougher replaceable lens 2.0 that is more resistant to scratches while being easier to change.

The FlowState Stabilisation and 360° Horizon Lock stabilisation systems are applied automatically for smooth, steady footage, while horizon lock keeps the horizon level.

The Insta360 X6 360 8K Camera comes with the Insta360 2600mAh Xtreme Battery. With this battery on a full charge, you will be able to record 8K30 360° video for up to 140 minutes. Fast charging is also supported, it is capable of charging from 0% to 80% in around 25 minutes.

The Insta360 X6 introduces the newly in-house developed APVE (Auto Pano Editing for Video) AI Model specifically for 360° video editing. This AI system is extensively trained, making it one of the best AI models to understand highlights, virtual camera movement and editing value. AI Director, Auto Edit 2.0 and FlashCut are three sets of software to assist in automatically editing footage, allowing for no post-production needed.
