A major feature of the Leica M EV1 Mirrorless Digital Camera is the specially designed Full-Frame BSI CMOS Sensor with Triple Resolution Technology. One of the major improvements of the Leica M EV 1's sensor is the possibility to choose the required image resolution between 60, 36, or 18MP, even for DNG. An advanced algorithm employed in the M EV1 ensures that the full area of the sensor is used for image capturing. With an ISO range of 64 to 50,000, it records at 14-bit colour depth as well as a dynamic range of up to 15 stops.
The Leica M EV1 Mirrorless Digital Camera features a uniquely designed layout of controls around the new 3" 2.3m pixel, high-resolution touchscreen. Another unique design feature is the deliberate omission of the traditional battery plate, providing easy access to the battery as well as the SD card slot. In addition to the SD card slot, the M11 also features a generous internal storage capacity of 64GB.
The Live View feature in the Leica M EV1 Mirrorless Digital Camera features two focusing methods. Focus Peaking automatically marks in-focus edges as coloured lines, where Focus Aid gives you the ability to magnify the subject on the monitor screen.
The Leica M EV1 Mirrorless Digital Camera is an Apple-certified accessory offering unique abilities with the included Leica FOTO cable. With the Leica FOTOS app you will also have the possibility to embed location data, access images via Bluetooth connection.
