Leica Content Credentials with Content Authenticity Initiative Technology

The Leica M11P is the world's first camera featuring Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) technology. The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) was a collaborative effort between Adobe and Leica and includes various other organisations including The New York Times. The goal is to develop a standard for digital content attribution. In the M11-P, this technology shows up as Leica Content Credentials. By using a secure processing chip, the camera will encrypt image metadata at the point of capture. It can then be independently verified and even appended along with applications such as Photoshop.
Viewers can then verify and confirm the veracity of the image, this also gives the image-maker other ways of maintaining credits.

Full-Frame BSI CMOS Sensor

The Leica M11-P Digital Rangefinder Camera features an exclusively designed Full-Frame BSI CMOS Sensor with Triple Resolution Technology you will have the choice of 60, 30, or 18MP even in DNG.
With the enhanced algorithm you will always be using the full area of the sensor for capturing images.

IR and UV Cut Filter

The newly designed IR and UV filters are two thinly packed glass layers to achieve an effective correction of the most oblique rays of incident light. With the filters employed the camera offers an improved and more natural colour reproduction.

Multi-Field Metering

For the first time, the Leica M 11-P features multi-field metering in the rangefinder, this feature is a valuable tool to capture light in images.

ISO Sensitivity

With an ISO sensitivity range of 64 to 50 000 it records 14-bit colour depth with a dynamic range of up to 15 stops. The Leica M11-P Digital Rangefinder Camera provides you with exceptional imaging performance, even in difficult lighting conditions. Especially when shooting with fast lenses and bright lighting conditions.

Functionality

The Leica M 11-P Digital Rangefinder Camera features a uniquely designed layout of controls around the new 2.3m pixel, high-resolution touchscreen. Another unique design feature is the deliberate omission of the traditional battery plate, providing easy access to the battery as well as the SD card slot. In addition to the SD card slot, the M11-P also features a generous internal storage capacity of 256GB.
The Leica M11-P is the first in the Leica M series that is able to save image files onto two different storage media simultaneously.

Connectivity Features

The Leica M 11P is an Apple certified accessory offering unique abilities with the included Leica FOTO cable. With the Leica FOTOS app, you will also have the possibility to embed location data, access images via Bluetooth connection.

Maestro-III Image Processor

Employed in the Leica M11-P Digital Rangefinder Camera you will find the latest generation Maestro-III image processor.
Combining the advanced Maestro-III processor and the equally advanced Tripple Resolution Sensor, the Leica M 11 P delivers images with very low digital noise levels, along with true-to-live and elegant looking images.
A 3 GB buffer memory and sequential shooting at up to 4.5 frames per second at full resolution.

Live View Focusing

The Live View feature in the Leica M11P Digital Rangefinder Camera features two focusing methods. Focus Peaking automatically marks in focus edges as coloured lines, where Focus Aid gives you the ability to magnify the subject on the monitor screen. The area of the image to be magnified can also be freely selected.
