The Manfrotto 349 Column Clamp is quite a useful clamp that can be securely fixed to any solid surface or bar with a thickness of up to 55mm. The clamp works perfectly well in conjunction with removable tripod columns of between 25 to 28mm diameter such as the 055 and 190 series tripods.
The column with the tripod head is inserted into the clamp and locked in position at the required height. The ideal solution for nature photography or for the support of binoculars or scopes.
