The Manfrotto Lumimuse 3 On-Camera LED Light is a compact and complete lighting system thats light in weight and easy enough to fit in your pocket and also powerful enough to light up your photography subject. The light can be attached to tripods and even cameras via the hot shoe mount and universal 6.4mm thread, and with the LED light it comes with USB rechargeable Li-Po batteries which can be recharged anywhere and at anytime via the USB to keep you going throughout the day; a snap-fit filter mount and set of filters to provide you with a variety of creative options giving you the freedom of changing the colour temperature as well as the diffusion of the LED lights, and a carrying case to transport your snap-fit filter mount and supplied filters.
Light output of 220lux
The LUMIE Play features 3 large LED lights with a light output of 220lux to provide extra lighting, and is great for light fill in both videos and photography.
Colour accurate
The Manfrotto LUMIE Play's LED's implement state-of-art LED technology known as Surface Mount Technology (SMT). This allows a better relative size to output ratio and that is why LUMIE devices remain comfortably small, but with potent light output. The colour accuracy is superb (>92% CRI). Thanks to these characteristics, final images and videos will always show accurate colours.
User friendly
Ease of use is one of the key advantages of using the Manfrotto LUMIE Play. Light intensity can be controlled through a dimming button, which also doubles as the on-off switch. Quite often, people avoid flash photography due to the complexity of getting everything right. Because the light emitted from the LUMIE Play is continuous, the camera's exposure meter can adjust settings, or show under/over exposure, and the resulting image can beseen directly on the cameras screen before the image is taken. This makes adjusting framing, composition and lighting a very simple process. Continuous lighting also provides light fill for videos, which really helps to expand the relative utility of modern day cameras, which have excellent video functionality.
Superb battery life
The LUMIE Play's LED's are powered by Li-on batteries, which can be recharged by standard Micro-USB port. The batteries can provide the LUMIE Play with over over a hour of operation, and allows the user to make the most of the photo/video shoot.
CTO & diffusing filter
The LUMIE Play comes with both a CTO, and a diffusing filter. The CTO (Colour Temperature Orange) filter modifies the light output to a warmer colour, this is ideal for portraiture where skin tones might get blown by a white light. The diffusers filter softens the light emitted, which helps to cut down on harsh and unpleasant shadows.
Tripod/hot-shoe mount
A small tripod/hotshoe mount is included to enable the LUMIE Play to mount on hot-shoes/flash-shoes or on tripods utilizing a screw.
Extremely portable
The LUMIE Play weighs a mere 74g and features dimensions of 28 x 71 x 53mm.
