Portable

The head only weighs 700g and can support up to 4 kg of payload. This is the best choice for birdwatchers that usually use lightweight scopes to observe wildlife and to digiscope through an additional camera. Small fluid heads, such as the 2-Way Head, are the ideal solution to keep this type of small payload moving constantly to assure the right level of stability.

Versatility

The 2-Way Head features a fluidity selector which is able to control the fluidity of the tilt movement. Thanks to this useful innovation, it is now possible to easily switch between hard and soft fluidity according to the preferred kind of movement and to the kind of gear in use. Hard fluidity is generally used when a slow tilt movement is required; inversely soft fluidity is preferred for fast tilt movements. The 2-Way Head is the only lightweight video head with a fluidity selector. This head works equally well on sliders, video tripods and monopods.

Ground level adapter

The tripod legs features a ground level adapter which boosts shooting versatility. Once placed on the top casting and combined with the 4 leg angles, it enables the tripod to reach ultra-low positions.

Quick Power Lock levers

The legs of the tripod are fast to extend and adjust, thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers that block and unblock each leg section. The QPL levers are specially designed to allow a more comfortable, stronger single-handed grip of the leg locks. From a folded position, the sections of each leg of the tripod can be released in a single movement. The QPL lever design also enables each section to lock more powerfully, making the tripod more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive, ergonomic leg angle selectors allow each leg to be independently and solidly set to any of the pre-set angles, allowing even greater positioning freedom.

Easy link connector

The top casting of the tripod has an Easy Link connector to support a photo or video accessory (such as a LED light, flash, reflector, or other piece of equipment) on an extending arm or bracket.
