About Jonathan

Jonathan is a cinematographer by trade, with a strong visual style and unique eye. He strives to immerse his audience in the frame he shoots through the use of context and aesthetics, be it for commercials, a documentary or branded content. With his technical knowledge of cameras, lights and editing, he considers himself a film “all-rounder”.

In 2009 he won the Highway Africa New Media award for his work on the hyperlocal content and news platform, 790tv.co.za. This digital journey has now brought Jonathan to the dawn of AI tech in film making. He is already seeing the value in embracing the technologies available not to replace traditional concepts but rather augment them further.
