Stepping Motor
The Nikon Z 28mm f/2.8 Lens use a stepping motor for fast, accurate, smooth, and quiet autofocus with reduced wobbling. This quiet stepping motor drive system makes the lenses ideal for use when shooting video.
IF Lens
When focusing with the Nikon Z 28mm f/2.8 Lens only the internal lens groups shift, therefore the lens size does not change during autofocusing. This allows for a lightweight and small form factor allowing you closer to your subject.
Aspherical Lens
Featuring a curved, non-sperical surface. This is used to provide a smaller sized lens and reduce aberrations such as coma and other types of lens aberrations throughout the aperture range.

Electromagnetic Diaphragm Mechanism
