    The NiSi 100 x 100mm Explorer IRND Filter is compatible with filter holders capable of holding 100mm filters that are 2mm in thickness, designed to darken the entire image. This is to allow you to photograph at wider apertures and slower shutter speeds than normally possible. This will allow you to have better control over the depth of field and capture movement in better detail.

    The NiSi 100 x 100mm Explorer IRND Filter is made from tempered Schott B270 glass, this makes it shock resistant as well as increasing clarity and colour fidelity. A layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating is applied to all surfaces of the filter, with this coating applied it is easier to clean your filter and an improved beading effect will be seen when in contact with oil or water.

    • Compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters
    • Neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required
    • Exposure reduction, this filter allows you to control depth of field and convey movement more easily
    • Filter does not affect colouration of the image and is ideal for use with other filters
    • Tempered Schott B270 glass construction for shock resistance as well as increased optical clarity and colour fidelity
    • Each surface includes one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating that attenuates infrared light as well as visible wavelengths to maintain colour neutrality and suppress colour casts due to increased exposure times.
    • Nano coating provides an improved beading effect with water or oil for more efficient cleaning
