    The NiSi SMC L395 UV Filter is a clear general-use filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. When using the filter you will find a reduction of unwanted blue casts and no colouration will be created.

    With the NiSi SMC L395 UV Filter in use, 28% of ultraviolet light waves are absorbed at 395 nanometers, this limits the light that enters the camera to the visible spectrum.

    Made from Asahi glass, this is for increased clarity as well as colour fidelity while still providing approximately 98.5% transmission of visible light. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface also includes an anti-reflective, hydrophobic coating that results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.
