This is there to enable you to make quick adjustments without the need to navigate through your camera controls, especially when shooting handheld.

Sync IS Image Stabilisation

Sync IS provides 7 steps of correction on the wide end and 6 steps of correction on the telephoto end. The lens alone without Sync IS has 6 steps of correction on the wide end and 5 steps on the telephoto end. This is all to reduce camera shake and ensure sharper images, especially while shooting handheld.

Optical Construction

Featuring 25 lens elements featured in the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-600mm f/5-6.3 IS Lens, these include four Super ED and two ED elements which all contribute to reducing colour fringing and chromatic aberrations.

Waterproof and Fluorine Coated

The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-600mm f/5-6.3 IS Lens features a splashproof and dustproof rating of IPX1, along with a fluorine coating employed to the body of the lens. This provides basic protection against harsh weather conditions.
