    Two aspherical elements in the optical design assist to reduce spherical aberrations, which assist in achieving a high degree of sharpness. The Movie and Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system provide precise, fast, and quiet focus performance to suit both video and photo applications.
    With a reliable IPX1-rated weather seal on the lens makes it easy to use in inclement weather conditions.
