The OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Camera is designed to be suitable for a variety of still and video needs in a compact and durable Micro Four Thirds mirrorless body.
The OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Camera features a 20.4MP Live MOS sensor as well as an updated TruePix IX image processor with quick continuous shooting up to 30 fps as well as DCI and UHD video recording.
Offering a sensitivity range of up to ISO 25600, the sophisticated 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation system compensates for 6.5 stops of camera shake enabling sharper handheld shooting.
The sensor's design incorporates 121 phase-detection points, all of which are cross-type, along with 121 contrast-detection areas for fast and precise focusing and subject-tracking performance.

DCI and UHD 4K Video Recording and OM-Log400
The OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Cameras sensor is capable of recording both DCI (4096 x 2160) and UHD (3840 x 2160) 4K movies. For working in DCI, a true 24p frame rate is used, and UHD 4K is available in frame rates of up to 30p.
You will have a Time-Laps Movie mode in recording up to 4K UHD resolution. For better external audio quality capture, you will find a microphone jack, or you can use the built-in stereo microphone.
Body Design and Connectivity
The OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Camera features a high-resolution 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder for eye-level shooting. On the back of the unit, you will find a 3.0" 1.04m-dot LCD monitor with a vari-angle design enabling you to view the screen from a variety of angles and access the menu options.
In-body battery charging is supported via the micro-USM port and the included BLS-50 battery can provide you with approximately 310 shots per charge.
For fast read and write speeds, the single SD card slot is UHS-II compatible. You will also find a microphone port, a top hot shoe, micro-USB as well as micro-HDMI ports. You will also find a 2.5mm port for optional remotes.
The OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Camera offers you a rugged splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof body construction incorporating sealing throughout the body design. Making it perfect for working in inclement weather conditions.
