    The Event

Join Orms, Sony and Bïndo for a guided birding and photography experience at Rondevlei Nature Reserve.

Led by the birding experts from Bïndo, this two-hour photowalk offers the opportunity to explore the reserve, spot and identify local bird species, and learn more about their behaviour and habitats. Whether you're an experienced birder, a keen wildlife photographer or simply curious about birding, the walk is open to all experience levels.

Bïndo is a birding platform and community built by passionate birders, bringing people together through shared sightings, species discovery and a love for the natural world. Their team brings valuable birding knowledge to the experience, helping attendees identify species, understand what they're observing and get more out of their time in the field.

Throughout the walk, attendees will also have the opportunity to test Sony cameras and lenses, as well as Swarovski optics, in a real-world birding environment.

Tea and coffee will be available, and your ticket includes entrance to the reserve, with no additional admission fees.

    What to Bring

We encourage attendees to bring their own cameras, lenses and binoculars, with the opportunity to try out Sony and Swarovski equipment during the event.

An SD memory card is essential, so please make sure to bring one along.

We also recommend comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing to accommodate Cape Town's unpredictable weather, and a hat for sun protection.

    Book Your Spot

Spaces are limited to 40 attendees per session. Select your preferred time slot and secure your place for a morning of birding, photography and learning from the experts.
