Finally, Built-In Manual Controls
For the first time ever, you will find manual controls in a Polaroid camera. With Polaroid understanding that light is the foundation of photography, the Polaroid I2 is designed with selectable shutter speeds between 1/250 to 30 seconds and aperture between f/8 and f/64. You are also able to have exposures longer than 30 seconds. All the above opens the door to bokeh effects, selective lighting techniques, motion blur, and more.
You will find six modes to choose from, these include: Further than full manual mode, you will find Auto Mode, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual Mode, Multiple Exposure, and Self-timer.
Combined with a new bright and large viewfinder the Polaroid I2 Instant Camera features an external display and an integrated display in the viewfinder.
Polaroid's Sharpest-Ever Lens
With a built-in 98mm and f/8 lens and an anti-reflective coating on the lens elements that reduce ghosting and flaring on images while the focal length and aperture assist in creating more depth of field, and beautiful bokeh effects. Another first for Polaroid is the 49mm filter thread which allows you to add filters of your choice.
The Polaroid I-2 instant Camera features an advanced lens system with a continuous autofocus 3-lens system employing a LiDAR ranging system to lock on your talent and provide the best result possible. Powered by a stepper motor, the autofocus frame at the centre of the viewfinder determines and displays the distance from the focal plane to the subject, which can be locked along with exposure by half-pressing the shutter button.
Expanded Capabilities in the Polaroid App
The Polaroid I2 Instant Camera can be controlled using the app where all manual controls will be found, the app also functions as a remote shutter control. Firmware updates can also be done through the app which connects via Bluetooth.
