The Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head is an upgraded version of the Profoto B10, the latest in the Profoto B series. The B10X is the most intuitive flash ever made by Profoto with a single button and one rolling knob, with easy to use touch controls on the screen.
In the box you will find a frosted glass cover to the light, this gives beautiful light right from the box. The Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head uses the standard 100mm mount, compatible with over 120 light shaping tools. Zoom scales can be found on both sides of the light to give specific zoom settings for use with hard reflectors.
The Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery located on the side of the unit and can easily be removed or inserted. Should the battery run low, you can easily charge the battery in the flash while continuing shooting.

The controls on the back of the Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head is easy to use and intuitive. The 3250 lumens continuous light can be activated by simply pressing one button on the back of the light. Simply by holding down and turning the dial you can move through the 10-stop range.

In the menu you will find the Air Group setting, allowing you to control each flash on the channel independently. You can also choose to sync your flash to one of 20 channels. Each channel and the Profoto Air system can sync up to 32 individual flash units.
The Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head can easily be paired with your smartphone by using the Bluetooth feature in the menu, simply by using the downloadable app.

The IR Slave option will allow the Profoto B10X Plus OCF Flash Head to trigger with the flash of another strobe.
Using the Flas Mode in the menu, you can switch from normal mode to freeze mode. In freeze mode, this unit has flash durations as fast as 1/50'000th per second and if speed is not as important, the normal flash mode can be used for better colour accuracy.
