The Rode RODECaster Video Core All-in-One Production Console enables you to make use of a smaller software-based model for your social media, streaming, podcasting, or live event production.
Blending the best of HD video switching technology with the familiar studio-grade audio control of all RODECaster units, this is all controlled through your personal computer interface.
The Rode RODECaster Video Core offers you with a variety of connectivity options, including HDMI and USB-C ports, accommodating UVC video sources as well as both analogue and digital audio sources. Up to 16 possible audio sources, or nine stereo channels, can be routed to the RODECaster Video Core via both wired and wireless connections.
Scale Your Setup with RODECaster Sync
The Rode RODECaster Video Core All-in-One Production Console can seamlessly be connected to your preexisting RODECaster Pro II or Do interface. This allows you to manage both audio and video from a single control surface, expand your inputs and outputs, unlock shared audio mixing and recording, and access advanced video switching functions.
Video Interface
Up to nine mix-effect layers can simultaneously display in both preview and program views. Two downstream keyers toggle overlays and logo, two chroma-keyers toggle different backgrounds, and two media players can play simultaneous MP4 video, PNG/JPG photos, or WAV audio from the internal 24GB of storage.
The multiview function allows you to view both program and preview, all the live inputs with scene and media thumbnails, the audio mixer and channel status, recording/network/storage status, as well as runtime, date, and time information. Switch between four 1080p60 video sources, three HDMI and one USB-C, and create up to five complex scenes with multiple layers of video, media, and graphics.
Multifunction USB-C Port
You are able to connect a USB Webcam, capture card, or any UVC video source directly to your RODECaster Video Core.
Using the USB-C port, you can integrate an Rode USB microphone or pair the console with the RODECaster Pro II or Duo for a unified audio and video workflow.
Audio Sources
On the back of the Rode RODECaster Video Core, you will find two studio-grade XLR-1/4" jacks on the console, it features low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps to ensure pristine audio capture from XLR microphones and instruments.
The digital USB-C ports connect RODE USB microphones, a RODECaster Pro II, or Duo Audio Production Studios. Other USB-C ports support 2-in/2-out multichannel outputs, mix-minus, and MFi protocols.
Aphex VoxLab audio processing equips the RODECaster Video Core with EQ, compressor, noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser, Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and panning effects per channel. Integrated preamps provide up to 76 dB input gain and -131.5 dBV equivalent input noise.

Intelligent Auto-Switching
The Rode RODECaster Video Core All-in-One Production Console feature intelligent auto-switching that allows for seamless and creative hands-free switching between video sources.
To follow a conversation, intelligent level detection can automatically detect and trigger switching when a talent is speaking to follow the conversation. With the built-in switching priorities and screen time algorithms, your recording will have a natural feel, as if a producer is calling the shots.

Intuitive Streaming and Recording
With the Rode Caster Video Core, you can stream directly to platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch via a ethernet connecion. You can also record directly to an external USB storage device or isolated (ISO) recording for more flexibility in post-production workflows. Programme feed can be recorded as an H.264/AVC MP4 file with embedded AAC stereo mix.
EDL files can be exported for DaVinci Resolve to streamline post-production workflows. Switch points, transitions, media, overlays, and timeline data are all directly imported to your edit, avoiding the need to rebuild a live production.
