The Rode TF-5 MP Cardioid Condenser Microphones with Stereo Mount were designed in collaboration with the venerable classical producer Tony Faulkner. Well-optimized for sonic transparency, accurate imaging, and unobtrusive placement.
The Rode TF-5 MP Cardioid Condenser Microphone is designed with the ability to capture timbre and dynamic range in precise detail, whether it is orchestral instruments, piano, acoustic guitar, percussion, or drums.
Each microphone capsule employs a cardioid pattern enhancing directionally and reducing ambience. The JFET active electronics and the ability to handle high SPLs up to 120 dB, and deliver a wide, flat frequency response.
Using the included mic clips and the Rode SB20 stereo bar featuring angled indicators for ORTF and X/Y configurations you are able to mount both microphones on a single mic stand. Included you will also find windscreens included to reduce wind or HVAC systems.
