    Designed for Astrophotography

    The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is specifically designed for astrophotography with a notable angle of view of 114°, 14mm focal length, and F/1.4 aperture. The Sigma 14mm can also be used on APS-C format models, here it provides a full-frame equivalent focal length of 21mm.
    Being designed for nighttime astrophotography, the Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens includes a tripod socket, manual focus lock switch, rear filter holder, and a filter slot designed to assist in astrophotography applications.

    Optical Design

    1 SLD (Special Low Distortion), 3 FLD (Low Dispersion), and 3 aspherical elements combine to achieve outstanding sharpness, it also eliminated sagittal coma flare (which distorts the shapes of stars). When shooting long exposure and starry skies, the advanced optical design and multicoating assist in minimizing flare and ghosting.

    HLA Autofocus Motor

    The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens features an HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) autofocus motor, which is designed to provide quick, quiet and highly-accurate focussing performance.

    Handling and Design

  • Dedicated aperture switch enabling clicked and de-clicked operation.
  • The lens is constructed using a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, along with traditional metals for use in a wide array of temperature variations.
  • A durable brass bayonet mount ensures the lens is locked in place.
