The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 Fisheye DG DN Art Lens is designed for the full-frame Sony E Mount. Featuring an impressive 180° angle of view along with an ultra-fast f/1.4 maximum aperture, this diagonal fisheye brings epic scope and sweeping clarity to a wide variety of applications such as astrophotography, architecture, and landscapes.
Within the optical design of the Sigma 15mm f/1.4 Fisheye DG DN Art Lens you have a total of 21 lens elements arranged in 15 groups also with four FLD elements, three SLD elements and two aspherical elements. These all work together to effectively prevent flare and ghosting to promote image clarity, also to optimise the reproduction of bright points of light. On the rear, you will find two rear sheet filter slots.
The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 Fisheye DG DN Art Lens is equipped with a HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) focusing motor that offers quick, quiet and precise autofocus performance. The HLA autofocus system also benefits sports photography, and other fast-moving subjects such as cars, planes, and birds in flight to ensure the best moment is not missed.
Body and Optical Design
The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 Fisheye DG DN Art Lens features 21 lens elements in 15 groups, also with four FLD elements three SLD elements and two aspherical elements, this lens construction optimises the reproduction of bright points of light.
On the rear, you will find two rear sheet filter slots, along with the included Arca-Swiss compatible tripod collar, this lens is well suited for astrophotography. This design is also to handle all conditions of incident light, including high backlit resistance, to offer the best sharpness and overall image quality.
HLA Autofocus System
The Sigma 15mm f/1.4 Fisheye DG DN Art Lens is equipped with a HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) focusing motor that offers quick, quiet and precise autofocus performance. The HLA autofocus system also benefits sports photography, and other fast-moving subjects such as cars, planes, and birds in flight to ensure the best moment is not missed.
Additional Benefits
In the box, you will receive a specially designed front lens cap with a locking mechanism. The included tripod socket is used to distribute weight evenly and along with the two rear lens sleeve filter slots this lens is ideal for astrophotography.
Custom buttons and switches on the lens include a manual focus lock switch, and lens heater retainer.
