Sigma introduces the Sigma f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens thats designed for the Sony E-Mount, full frame cameras. The wide-angle prime lens shares a wide aperture that creates beautiful bokeh, pin sharp images and even performs well in low-light environments being the best lens in its class performance meeting all shooting conditions. The lens construction utilises two FLD (F Low Dispersion) glass elements and three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements which all contributes to a much higher resolution image, and also provides thorough correction of magnification chromatic aberration which normally occurs in wide-angle lenses. The beauty of this lens as mentioned, is that it meets all shooting conditions due to it featuring a water-and-oil-repellent coating on both forefront and rear lenses allowing you to easily wipe away water and to prevent oil and fat marks from sticking to the surface, the lens construction is also dust-and splash proof with special sealing thats been applied at the mount connection, manual focus ring, zoom ring, and cover connection giving you the freedom of shooting in all types of weather. In addition, the lens also incorporates an advanced high-speed autofocus with an updated algorithm, which is all thanks to the Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM).
