The mid tele range lens delivers superb image quality in the Contemporary line, as well as attractive bokeh which is all thanks to its large f/1.4 aperture.

    Stand-out-features of the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 lens include smooth and quiet autofocus which is perfect for recording video; a mount thats dust-and splash-proof constructed allowing it to perform in all weather conditions; a high-precision, rugged brass bayonet mount that contributes to the durability of the lens; Super Multi-Layer Coating to effectively reduce flare and ghosting; a rounded 9-blade diaphragm and also incorporates one SLD glass element to correct peripheral light, distortion, and even axial colour aberration which is usually difficult to eliminate.
