Two cold shoe mounts on the top and side of the SmallRig Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 (Basic Edition) let you add an LED video light or a microphone such as the DJI Mic 2, turning your action camera into a compact vlogging rig. A side magnetic quick-release interface works with DJI's original dual-direction quick-release adapter mount, and the open bottom keeps the camera's own magnetic mount free for SmallRig bidirectional adapters for quick horizontal and vertical switching.

You can change the battery without taking the cage off, so a flat battery won't hold up your shoot. A strap hole on the side lets you attach a wrist strap to guard against drops when you're filming handheld or on the move.
